Friday 1st September - we pray for all those who live in Southern Europe, Canada and Hawaii who have lost loved ones, homes and businesses due to wildfires.
Saturday 2nd September - we pray for the Fairtrade foundation that fair prices will be paid to farmers and smallholders.
Sunday 3rd September - we pray for the Backpack service that children may go to school with confidence this week.
Monday 4th September - we pray, on the day we commemorate the life of St. Birinus, who 1,500 years ago brought reconciliation to warring factions in this country, that the Christian message might bring peace to our world today.
Tuesday 5th September - we pray for our young people returning to school and college this week, for their teachers and those starting at a new setting.
Wednesday 6th September - we pray for those who do online gaming that they may use their time wisely and not to the detriment of family life and relationships.
Thursday 7th September - we pray for peace in Ukraine and a gradual move towards negotiation and settlement.
Friday 8th September - we pray on World Literacy Day that everyone will have the opportunity to read.
Saturday 9th September - we pray for the “Ride and Stride” today for those taking part and those welcoming participants.
Sunday 10th September - we pray for our clergy team, for the leaders of Baby Steps, Youth Group and children’s church.
Monday 11th September - we remember those who perished in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Towers in New York and the Pentagon in Washington.
Tuesday 12th September - we give thanks for the role pets play in our lives, for vets and their assistants and those who work in animal shelters.
Wednesday 13th September - we pray for those who work in and donate to charity shops. That we might promote a culture of use and reuse.
Thursday 14th September - we pray on Holy Cross Day for those who care for the Holy sites in Jerusalem.
Friday 15th September - we pray for all those campaigning for democracy and justice in government throughout the world.
Saturday 16th September - we pray for the Top Up Shop, for those collecting the food, running the shop and our shoppers.
Sunday 17th September - we pray for all victims of terrorism, especially those who have had to flee their countries.
Monday 18th September - we pray for those endeavouring to close the gender pay gap.
Tuesday 19th September - we pray for the chaplains to the emergency services, hospitals and hospices.
Wednesday 20th September - we pray that we might bring encouragement to those who are feeling low and dispirited.
Thursday 21st September - we pray for our outreach to families and young people.
Friday 22nd September - we pray for those running Refuge houses and telephone help lines.
Saturday 23rd September - we pray, on the International Day of Sign Language, for those who are deaf or hard of hearing, for those who use or are learning to sign and for worshippers at Ipswich church for the deaf.
Sunday 24th September - we pray for the Harvest Festival service today giving thanks for the good food we enjoy. Also, for the people of Kagera, their harvest will be good.
Monday 25th September - we pray for those with life threatening allergies and food intolerences.
Tuesday 26th September - we pray for students preparing to go to University or College, especially those going for the first time.
Wednesday 27th September - we pray for mariners working for long periods away from home and the Mission to Seamen who provide amenities for them in ports of call.
Thursday 28th September - we pray, on the International Day for Universal Access to Information, for those areas in this country and around the world without good internet speeds and those who do not have unrestricted access to information.
Friday 29th September - we pray for the MacMillan Coffee mornings being held today.
Saturday 30th September - we pray for those who work in health education that all may do their best to have a healthy lifestyle.
