Thursday 1st August - we pray for Israel, Gaza, Palestine and the Middle East, and all areas of the world where there is conflict, for people now displaced, injured or mourning loved ones.
Friday 2nd August - we pray for child contact centres providing safe parental contact to broken families.
Saturday 3rd August - we pray for those who help to educate us in nutrition and the benefits of eating a healthy balanced diet.
Sunday 4th August - we pray for our clergy team, Churchwarden and members of the PCC.
Monday 5th August - we pray for all those seeking jobs and employment.
Tuesday 6th August - we pray for the diocese of Kagera and the challenges they face.
Wednesday 7th August - we pray for those who live the single life, either by choice, relationship breakdown or the death of their partner.
Thursday 8th August - we pray for the work of Mothers’ Union throughout the world.
Friday 9th August - we pray for the Chaplains to the Emergency Services, hospitals and hospices.
Saturday 10th August - we pray for those who are getting married this year and those who are planning their future together.
Sunday 11th August - we pray for families and young people who come to church that they may always feel welcome.
Monday 12th August - we pray for all efforts to limit the proliferation and development of nuclear weapons.
Tuesday 13th August - we pray for those who work in the holiday and leisure industries.
Wednesday 14th August - we pray, as we celebrate the live of Octavia Hill, that sites of natural beauty and heritage buildings will be maintained.
Thursday 15th August - we pray on the Feast Day of the Blessed Virgin Mary for all mothers around the world, especially those who struggle to feed and clothe their children.
Friday 16th August - we pray for students receiving their A Level results yesterday and their future plans.
Saturday 17th August - we pray for women and girls who live in repressive societies where their opportunities for education and employment are restricted.
Sunday 18th August - we pray for the Fairtrade foundation and all who campaign for fair prices for small scale farmers and growers.
Monday 19th August - we pray, as we celebrate the life of St. Bernard, for all Beekeepers and that we plant bee friendly plants in our gardens.
Tuesday 20th August - we pray for those who live with severe allergies.
Wednesday 21st August - we pray for families who find the school summer holidays difficult because of finance, childcare and those who have a child with special needs.
Thursday 22nd August - we pray for Lifeguards patrolling beaches and swimming pools and the work of the RNLI around our coasts.
Friday 23rd August - we pray for students receiving their GCSE results yesterday and their future plans.
Saturday 24th August - we pray for those who maintain our parks and open spaces so we can enjoy being outside in the summer.
Sunday 25th August - we pray for those who write inspiring Christian hymns, songs and music.
Monday 26th August - we pray on August Bank Holiday for a time of relaxation and enjoyment.
Tuesday 27th August - we pray for phone and social media providers to keep us safe from exploitation.
Wednesday 28th August - we pray for the Paris Paralympics starting today.
Thursday 29th August - we pray for the work of the Salvation Army around the world.
Friday 30th August - we pray for those who provide care and treatment for those who suffer from addictions.
Saturday 31st August - we pray, on the day we commemorate St. Aidan, for the people of Northeast England.
